Annie the Driver: Can she get the team to back her vision?

Annie has a clear vision for her startup that she will pursue at any cost. She's passionate, charismatic and very persuasive. But how does she get her co-founders on side, when the inevitable trade-offs and compromises need to be made?

This vision was grown out of Annie’s own innovation in her field, and she sees the success of the venture as indistinguishable from her personal success. While Annie’s forceful commitment to the long-term vision of her startup is one of her great strengths as an entrepreneur, it can also lead to conflicts with her team. She has trouble accepting feedback on her vision and has a tendency to take criticism personally, especially if she feels her larger vision is being threatened or changed.

Furthermore, Annie’s drive towards her vision can lead to an inability to adapt to unforeseen events and changes in the business environment. This can often throw her into conflict with the more flexible and adaptive members of her team, who want to change course and be sensitive to these changes.

If only there were a tool that would help Annie to better understand how her entrepreneurial role fits with those of her team and could help turn these differences into complementary strengths…
The Dynamiqe Entrepreneurial Profiling Tool enables startup teams to identify gaps and leverage their complimentary strengths
